Parish Footpaths, Bridleways & Byways

These are subject to the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. Nottinghamshire County Council are the authority responsible for the protection and maintenance of the rights of way including the stiles and gates. This is achieved together with parish and town councils as part of the Parish Paths Partnership. There are a number of Footpaths, Bridleways and Byways within the parish. Misson Parish Council keeps a close interest in their protection and maintenance and has appointed Path Wardens.
