The cemetery is located on Top Road and is owned and maintained by the parish council.
Misson Cemetery
While it is understood that residents and others with strong connections with the parish will primarily be those wishing to be buried at Misson, it is not currently restricted in this way by the parish council. It should be understood that the current policy may be reviewed from time to time in line with the needs of the parish. An increasing choice of many is to have the remains following a cremation to be buried here. Dedicated plots have been made available for this purpose.
Further information on burials and to reserve a burial plot please contact your chosen Funeral director. They will fully understand your requirements and therefore they will make the necessary arrangements in accordance with your requests.
During 2007 the parish council improved the general outlook of the cemetery. The improvements include the refurbishment of the main gates and the installation of new railings along the whole frontage. In addition the unruly small trees and shrubs along the frontage have been removed giving the cemetery an open, brighter and more accessible outlook. Further improvements are planned during 2008.
